More PROOF Against Rumored JADINE BREAKUP in MT ULAP Hiking Trip Captured on INSTAGRAM Post

For the most part, the transition of the New Year from 2019 to 2020 was fairly normal as such changeovers go. But for the Philippine entertainment industry, particularly the fandom of a very specific pairing from the Kapamilya stable of stars, the first few days of January have been in a state of confusion.  It had been something of a hot rumor indeed when social media exploded with the “news” that James Reid and Nadine Lustre have called it quits. While Nadine has already debunked the allegations, not all fans are convinced. So she has decided to post proof that nothing is amiss at all.
The Manila Bulletin has it that the supposedly beleaguered love team of JaDine – James Reid and Nadine Lustre – are still going quite strong if a recent outdoor trip has anything to say about it. On the evening of Monday, January 6, a personal friend of the duo posted some photos on his Instagram account. Said friend, jeriko.tan on Instagram, showcased a photo of a hiking group including James and Nadine. This expedition had traveled up Mount Ulap in Itogon, Benguet this early 2020. There was no specific time given for the Mt. Ulap hiking trip.

Reid and Lustre are depicted in the photograph as posing in the center of the group, all smiles under the daytime sun. jeriko.tan’s caption read, “Started 2020 right. Great views and great company.” This picture alone ought to be a powerful message to JaDine fans that the two have not broken up owing to “irreconcilable differences,” as related by columnist Ricky Lo of The Philippine Star. While James so far has made no commentary on the issue, Nadine has begun damage control for the controversy.
She has even, in an earlier Instagram post this past Sunday, January 5, taken Lo to task for the rumor, which also insinuated that she was coping with mental illness which then spurred Reid’s “departure.” Lo had characterized the alleged breakup of the JaDine tandem as a case of “too much (togetherness), too soon (living together),” something that Nadine Lustre has taken great exception to.
