JUSTIN BIEBER Reveals FIFTH ALBUM Titled “CHANGES,” Second SINGLE, and TOUR

Back in March of the previous year, Justin Bieber announced that he was going to take care of some issues with his personal life and thus would be taking an unspecified time off from his life-long passion of making music. Barring one May 2019 collaboration with Ed Sheeran, Bieber was pretty much quiet until last December, when he said his album will release this year followed by a concert tour. A single from then-unnamed album was released last January 3. But on Tuesday this week, Justin’s album got its title revealed, followed by a second single at the same time.

Entertainment Weekly reports that Justin Bieber finally introduced his fifth studio album, which carries the title “Changes,” on January 28. He specifies that he is looking to see this album be released in time for Valentine’s Day next month. And on top of that, his title announcement was backed up with the release of another single from “Changes,” with featured vocals from Kehlani. Based on the lyrics sampled from the song, entitled “Get Me,” Bieber looks to be singing about his wife Hailey Bieber nee Baldwin, who is featured alongside her husband on “Justin Bieber: Seasons,” a documentary series on YouTube Originals about his hiatus and current return to music.

Alongside the announcement of this fifth album’s title and the release of a follow-up single to “Yummy” last January 3, Justin also laid down the first bits of info on the concert tour for “Changes,” covering multiple venues across the US starting from May (Seattle, WA) up until September (East Rutherford, NJ) of 2020. He will be joined on the road by Kehlani as well as Jaden Smith. Tickets for the tour will start going on sale the same day as the debut of the “Changes” album on February 14.

The over-40-stop schedule of Justin Bieber’s “Changes” concert tour can be construed as an unspoken apology of sorts to the star’s fans who were surprised by the abrupt cancellation of the final dates for the “Purpose” world tour back in 2017. The backstory for this speculation-heavy period in Justin’s life and career will apparently be part of the overview of “Seasons” on YouTube Originals, and can put rumors to rest. Ahead of the release of “Changes,” Bieber will also be on the February 8 airing of “Saturday Night Live” on NBC, with RuPaul as host.
