IÑIGO PASCUAL to Perform with UK Band NEW RULES February Ahead of Joining them on TOUR

Not content to be known only as the son of multi-talented acting superstar Piolo Pascual, his son Iñigo is building up his own celebrity cred as a singer and recording artists. While he has only had a single self-titled 2016 album thus far with a hit song in “Dahil Sa’yo”, the younger Pascual is already a hot commodity as a live performer, with a regular spot on ABS-CBN’s “ASAP” and a momentous stint as a featured singer during the Philippine-hosted 30th Southeast Asian Games’ opening ceremony. At the latest, Iñigo is hitting the touring road with a new rising band from the UK, New Rules.

According to ABS-CBN News, Iñigo Pascual is joining British band New Rules as they embark on a concert tour of the UK and Ireland for this 2020. The Kapamilya singing heartthrob had actually worked with New Rules on a few acoustic collaborations from the year before. One of their standout performances together is a cover of “Bad Guy” by recent Grammy Award Winner Billie Eilish from her similarly-awarded album “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?” a video of which is featured on New Rules’ official YouTube channel.

Of course, it would be too simple for Iñigo to just travel to the UK when the tour by New Rules is ready to take off. But instead, he will be waiting here because the British band is coming to Manila first, to hold a couple of mall shows next month in cooperation with Star Events. Needless to say, the younger Pascual will be part of the band ensemble, composed of singer-songwriters Alec McGarry, Nathan Lambert and Ran Meaney, for these mini-concert shows, which will take place from February 1 to 2, at the Ayala Malls Circuit and Market! Market!

With plenty of stories from Iñigo Pascual, it should also be no surprise that the members of New Rules already feel quite familiar with their prospective Filipino audiences, as made clear on a statement they have given. “We see you guys online all the time, so to get to come and see you in person is really special,” says the group. “We’re also gonna be playing lots of shows in Manila so hopefully we’ll see all of you guys there.”
