In the 2014 Metro Manila Film Fest hit, Praybeyt Benjamin must prove
himself worthy of his new Colonel rank by protecting spoiled brat,
Bimbee (Bimby Yap) while trying to avert a disaster – a bomb is set to
explode and cause havoc in a public place. Will he succeed in his
complicated tasks? The movie which also starred Richard Yap, finished
2015 with around P435 in earnings to become one of the country’s best
performing movies of all time.
Rebellious Jackie (Kathryn Bernardo) is forced to join a medical
mission in Tarlac as her mother tries to correct her erring ways, hoping
an opportunity for self-discovery would bring change. There, Jackie
meets the jolly Kiko (Daniel Padilla), who will make sure she gets all
her tasks done. But fate would lead the two to discover something crazy
and beautiful in each other.
Popoy and Basha finally marry each other in the sequel to “One More
Chance,” giving fans a much anticipated follow-up to the couple’s
hopeful ending. This time, though, Popoy is dealing with personal
failures as Basha tries to keep their marriage intact. “A Second
Chance” is one of the country’s biggest romantic hits of all time.
Kara (Anne Curtis) successfully seduces Ram (Derek Ramsay) to have an
affair after helping him with a business deal – until she falls in love
with him. Ram’s wife, Charmaine, (Cristine Reyes) soon finds out and
vows to get her husband back, no matter the cost. Watch the masterful
storytelling of Ruel S. Bayani in this tale of illicit love.
Lino (Piolo Pascual) desperately searches for his wife, Mary Grace
(Iza Calzado) who has left the country to become a domestic helper in
Italy. Instead, he finds Jenny (Claudine Baretto), a woman who takes
advantage of his desperation. She manipulates him to serve her own needs
but after time spent with him in the city, she later finds herself
slowly falling for him.
Go back in time with one of Star Cinema’s original hit love tandems,
Rico Yan and Claudine Barretto, in the movie “Got 2 Believe.” Toni
(Claudine), a wedding coordinator who creates the perfect weddings for
other people, is a perennial bridesmaid. Resigned to a life of
singlehood, Toni eventually meets Lorenz (Rico), a wedding photographer
who just might give her story a magical ending.
