JayR Receives Gold Record Award for “Elevated”

The Philippines King of R&B JayR’s latest album “Elevated” has been certified GOLD! JayR received his Gold Record award from Philippine Association of Record Industry (PARI) Chairman Atty. Marivic Benedicto assisted by Homeworkz Music’s Events & ADProm Officer Perry McDonald earlier today (January 22) on ASAP.

“Elevated” is released under JayR’s own independent record music label, HomeworkZ Music. The album sold more than 7,500 units.

Comprised of 14 outstanding all original tracks with collaborations from Kyla, Mica Javier, Q-York, Gabi Wilson, Jhing, Jimmy Muna, Marié Dibgy, AJ Rafael and Kris Lawrence.

One of the songs on the album entitled “L-O-V-E” was lucky enough to be part of a Hollywood movie soundtrack “Bounce Back” starring Shemar Moore, Nadine Velasquez and Bill Bellimy. He even attended the red carpet movie premiere at the Chinese Theater in Hollywood last December 2016.

“Kahit all original ang album ko na Elevated nag-Gold pa rin. Ibig sabihin nun buhay na buhay ang OPM. Next level is Platinum. I’m so proud that my first album produced under my own label is making waves,” the Award-winning singer/producer posted on his social media after the surprised awarding.

“Elevated” is still available at all Astroplus, AstroVision and Odyssey record bars nationwide and on digital downloads via Spotify, iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, Apple Music, Deezer, and other digital music retailers worldwide.

JayR is currently seen every Sunday on ABS-CBN’s Sunday variety show ASAP and part of “Soul Sessions” along with Kyla, Jason Dy, Daryl Ong and KZ Tandingan. He has also a radio show “The Bloq Party” on Wave 89.1 every Sunday 4-6PM with Q-York and Maddy Madz. JayR is set to release an all-original Tagalog album within the year.

Singapore welcomes 2017 with world-class concerts, shopping and dining events


An exciting line-up of rock concerts, dining and shopping events to satisfy different passions await visitors to Singapore this 2017.

Headlining the roster of adrenaline-pumping concerts are Grammy® Award winning Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Metallica with their Metallica Worldwired Tour 2017, happening on January 22 at the Singapore Sports Hub.



The legendary Guns N' Roses will play in Singapore for the first time at the Changi Exhibition Centre on February 25 for their Not in This Lifetime Tour.

British rock band Coldplay will also return to the Singapore Sports Hub on March 31 and April 1 for their A Head Full of Dreams Tour, which has already played to 2.5 million people across Latin America, the United States and Europe.

Grammy® Award winning English singer and songwriter Sting rounds out the concerts for the year with his 57th and 9th Tour at the Singapore Sports Hub on May 28.

Other artists to watch out for in Singapore are British rock band Bring Me the Horizon (February 2, D’Marquee), American rock bands Journey (February 10, The Star Theatre) and Yellowcard (February 12, The Coliseum).
