Christian Bautista Receives Platinum Award for his album Soundtrack

This is a congratulatory post to Asia’s Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista as he received his most recent Platinum Award yesterday on Sunday All Stars for his album Soundtrack making him still as of one of the most reliable male singers in the Philippines.

His album Soundtrack includes memorable theme songs from the most romantic movies of all time such as 'A Thousand Years' and 'Up Where We Belong'.

Christian also has a duet of 'The Way We Were' with former sweetheart Rachelle Ann Go with music video shot entirely in London. Other female celebrities who collaborated with Christian on this Soundtrack album were Nikki Gil (Come What May), Karylle (After All) and Julie Ann San Jose (Cruisin).

Following the success of the album is an international single he recently recorded with American idol finalist Jessica Sanchez.  The song which was co-produced by Sam Sumser and written by Nick Carter and Andrew Fromm will come out anytime soon.

Christian is now back in Manila to continue playing his role as a construction worker on GMA7's late afternoon soap 'My Mother's Secret'. He just arrived the other day fresh from serenading his fans in Canada for the GMA7's Kapusong Pinoy Concert.
