The Creed Live in Manila

'The Fans here in the Philippines are so refreshing. They connect with us deeper in a different level and will bring them when we go home.'  This was what Scott Strapp, lead vocalist of the Creed said yesterday at the Emerald Room of Crowne Plaza in Ortigas during the Press Conference of the band's Concert here in Manila later tonight, November 11, 2012 at Smart Araneta Coliseum.

This Grammy-Award Winning Band, best known for their hits: With Arms Wide Open (which was the Best Rock Song in the 2001 Grammy Awards), My Sacrifice (My Personal Fave & I'm sure yours as well), My Own Prison, Higher, One Last Breath, What if and a lot more, has sold more than 53 Million Albums worldwide making them one of the best bands ever.

On Vocals - Scott Stapp, Bassist - Brian Marshall, Drummer - Scott Phillips and Guitarist/Vocalist - Mark Tremonti are all very excited to hear Filipino voices and harmonies which they believed would elevate what they do giving them goose-bump while performing. The band is more inspired to come back and perform for fans whenever they see passion from other people reliving and loving their music.

Bands Magazine's Editor Jason Paor asked them about stories on how their music has affect lives of people. Many times they said that the sick, the low-spirited, the soldiers amongst many more would come up to them and tell them how the messages of their songs touched lives; giving them hope, encouragement & deepening belief. Creed's music revolves around Faith, Prayers, Dreams and Reflections of Experience.; though they never really admitted to be a Christian Band at all.

At the time when they were starting,  Strapp got a review of having the ability to energize a room as soon as he steps up to the microphone, with his gravelly but powerful voice filling up every available space. And just last year, Creed was hailed by Billboard magazine as the 18th Best Artist of the Decade. Now it has been said that the band has started recording new materials for their fifth album.
