Christian Bautista

“If you have been touched by the melody, by the words or by Me; Thank You!” this was Christian Bautista’s message during his 10th anniversary concert; the X-CLASS, held last Sunday October 7, 2012 at the Meralco Theatre.

I just don’t know where to start in telling you how beautiful the concert was since there have been a lot of good reviews already. Let me just take you to my experience instead…

With a great performer like Christian, a concert does not need too much more;  He alone can sell; But XCLASS was a total package!

It was visually extravagant and musically wonderful. The stage was so attractive with lights synchronized so well to the music and choreography. From the start to the finish it blew me away! Just amazing job done by Director Rowell Santiago and Musical Director Louie Ocampo. I can say it’s the most beautiful concert I have ever watched in my life. The only concert that didn’t focus only with the singer, with singing and with the music but to every detail of the show. It was carefully thought of.

XClass didn’t come out short in Class, Originality and Show-Stopping Performances by Christian Bautista. He was well dressed, vocally prepared and productions were just very creative and nice back-ups by Hotlegs and Maneuvers.

The concert had a good line-up of guests. From Akafellas, to Christian’s brother Jordan to Zia Quizon to International Rockstar Mig Ayesa with the special participation of Cosplayer Alodia Gosiengfiao.

Amongst all the songs Christian sang, his deeply moving rendition of Casting Crown’s ‘Who Am I’ was my favorite and it was the most applauded to my recall. He ended the concert singing the first song he recorded, the song that started it all, the song that gave him the title, recognitions and platinum awards; ‘The Way You Look At Me’.

From the many times I have heard him singing that song live; that night was the most heartfelt and gave me unreasoning happiness and smiles upto now.

So if you want value in a concert, XClass is where you would wanna be.. It’s like an intimate night party then the next morning, you do remember everything special. It was not just a Class by itself but it was a Beautiful and Magical Experience and I just felt the need to say something about it!

So what are you waiting for? You still have 3 nights to know and understand what I’m talking about. October 12, 13 and 14. Contact Ticketworld at 891-9999 or go to for tickets.
