A sequel to the Kimmy Dora hit of 2009, the part 2 is not just hilarious but also has a touch of horror and fantasy. Uge who is People's Choice for Favorite Actress of the Year at 6th Asian Film Awards 2012 is returning to theater as PETA adopts a thematic take on Lino Brocka’s classic "Bona" which originally starred Ms. Nora Aunor.

PETA’s Bona is a comedy drama of a call-center spinster (Eugene) who is a die-hard fan of Star of Tomorrow hopeful Edgar Allan Guzman and is written by Layeta Bucoy.

JM De Guzman

JM De Guzman had his first taping yesterday June 15, 2012 for the Book 2 of the hit afternoon Teleserye “Angelito; Ang Batang Ama”.

He also bagged the lead role of the Indie Film, "Intoy Syokoy"; a finalist in the New Breed category of the 2012 Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival which will run from July 20-29.

"Intoy Syokoy” is a comedy story about a young tahong diver and his childhood love played by Lj Reyes. Screenplay byJerry Gracio and will be directed by Lem Lorca.

This July 25, 2012, JM will star in a horror classic produced by Regal Films “Pridyider” which was originally an episode in the first Shake Rattle and Roll by Ishmael Bernal. This time, it will be directed by Rico Maria Ilarde and will have Andie Eigenmann and Janice de Belen as her co-stars.

It is also confirmed that JM will portray the character of Filipino Saint Pedro Calungsod which will most likely start filming October of this year.

JM is regularly seen on ASAP with his group BoysRBoys  including Bryan Termulo, Alex Castro and Markki Stroem,

KC Concepcion

KC Concepcion is set to host the musical talent search X-Factor which will air this June 23, 2012 on ABS-CBN. The show will give away P4million in prizes which will be the biggest in the history of Philippine TV.

Also, KC made it to the list of "25 Sexiest International Actresses You Haven't Heard Of" by New York-based lifestyle magazine, Complex. On the website of the mag; She was ranked 23rd in the list of "hottest thespians overseas" and the only Filipina who made it on that list. She was also on a cover of Cosmo Mexico recently.

KC, who is the UN’s National Ambassador Against Hunger, will star in a new soap opera “Against All Odds” of ABS-CBN with Judy Ann Santos and Sam Milby as her co-stars.

You can catch her tomorrow on “Sarah G. Live” June 17, 2012 as she joins the party and takes on the center stage with a smash-up dance number.

Zanjoe Marudo

Zanjoe Marudo topbills the upcoming Adolf Alix film  “Kalayaan” (Wildlife) with Luis Alandy and Laotian-Australian actor Ananda Everingham as his-co stars.

The movie is an entry to the the 2012 Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival and will run from July 20-29 and will be shown in CCP, Trinoma & Greenbelt Cinemas.

Kalayaan is one of the 10 films that received a script development grant from the Hubert Bals Fund, a project of the International Film Festival Rotterdam. Also, The Global Film Initiative  awarded “Kalayaan” with production funding, along with nine other films, as part of its Winter 2012 granting cycle.

The film’s setting is in the lovely Palawan, and the story revolves around the lonely lives of Filipino soldiers stationed in the Spratly islands.

Also, Zanjoe is coming out in another Indie film “Rematado” by Ato Bautista and a Star Cinema film One More Try with Angelica Panganiban, Angel Locsin & Dingdong Dantes.

Zanjoe is regularly seen everyday in Kapamilya Gold’s afternoon soap “Hiyas” and every Saturday night on Banana Split.

You can also watch him in Eugene Domingo’s highly acclaimed Kimmy Dora & The Temple of Kiyeme; currently showing in all cinemas nationwide.

Jollibee Float Ambassador Enchong Dee is currently in Europe enjoying work and travel at the same time. Early this month; he performed at the City of Wines for the 5^th Anniversary of Kapamilya World Fiesta with Bea Alonzo, Angelica Panganiban & Coco Martin.

As I write this entry; he is currently exploring great countries in Europe and enjoying food, sceneries with photos posted on his Instagram account @superchonggo

As he returns to the Philippines; he will start taping a new teleserye “Ina, Kapatid, Anak” of ABS-CBN and will finish the movie “The Reunion” of Star Cinema.

Maja Salvador

ABS-CBN Star Magic Artist Maja Salvador bagged the Best Actress Award in the recently concluded 35^th Gawad Urian held at AFP Theater in Camp Aguinaldo last June 13, 2012.

Maja, with over a million followers on twitter; won for her performance in Direk Paul Soriano's  Indie Film "Thelma". The film also had successful screenings abroad and in prestigious International Film Festivals; like New York Film Fest & Hawaiian Film Fest plus winning the Bronze Palm Award at the 2012 Mexico International Film Festival.

She is also set to come out in a new soap directed by Don Cuaresma and Jojo Saguin “Ina, Kapatid, Anak” of ABS-CBN with Kim Chiu, Xian Lim, Rayver Cruz & Enchong Dee as her co-stars. The story revolves around sibling rivalry, wealth, business and love.

Maja was also on the cover of Mega Magazine May 2012 issue where they featured how she manages to keep her star flaming despite the challenges in her life as an actress and dancer.

She is also the latest endorser of Petit Monde.

Enrique Gil, the Dougie Master and the original Trending King on Twitter now has 2 new TV commercials; The Head and Shoulders Apple Fresh Scent Shampoo and Lemon Square's Choo Choo Cake Pies.

Enrique also came out with a single “Tunay Na Ligaya” as part of the love soundtrack of ABS-CBN’s Primetime soap “Princess and I”. The CD is now available in all record stores nationwide for only P199 and can be downloaded at www.mymusicstore.com.ph

On his twitter account; he said he is a songer and not a singer. So humble and cute of him to have tweeted that.

Jessy Mendiola

19-year-old actress Jessy Mendiola is set to star in a Kapamilya Gold Precious Heart Romances presents IsLa with Matteo Guidicelli and a Primetime Bida serye Against All Odds with Judy Ann Santos, Sam Milby & KC Concepcion. She will start taping this coming week for IsLa.

The story is about 2 people (Jessy & Mateo) who were attracted to each other while they were in an island and problems started when they got back to their respective lives after being rescued.

Mateo’s role was married to a woman who can’t get pregnant. Conflict arose when this woman found out that something happened between Jessy’s and Mateo’s characters in the island.

Jessy who recently came out in a Head and Shoulder TV Commercial with Enrique Gil is also the new endorser of Myra Holistic Skin Care with Ms. Eula Valdez & Ms. Iza Calvado.

Currently filming the Star Cinema movie “The Reunion” , Jessy was last seen as Gerald Anderson’s leading lady in the the Seoul International Drama nominee Budoy.

Joseph Marco

Joseph Marco did a cover shoot recently with top fashion photographer Lope Navo for Garage Magazine. The magazine has 2 different cover photos; a good boy and bad boy concept. May 2012, Joseph has been walking the run way for Philippine Fashion Week and Fashion designers Bang Pineda and Rajo Laurel.

Currently, he is doing an indie film with Ejay Falcon and a Star Cinema movie “The Reunion” coming out August of this year. Joseph is also set to come out in a new soap “Against All Odds” of ABS CBN with Judy Ann Santos, KC Concepcion & Sam Milby. He also received good reviews for his acting on MMK written by Rose Colindres, and directed by Jojo Saguin  portraying Rayver Cruz’ brother.

Anytime soon; Joseph is coming out in another magazine cover. Watch out for that.
