Yesterday was a long day for me..
Had a Starbucks meeting; then ASAP Rocks 2012 then The Buzz; 
then Bench Fashion Show and a midnight Investigation at The Fort. 
It was so tiring but it was a happy day.
ASAP 2012 had Hiyas & Born to Love You Promotions.
Plus Birthday Bash for Sam Milby & Ms. Zsa Zsa Padilla.

Sid Lucero

Last Friday, May 18, 2012 was the Finale Taping Day of GMA7’s powerful drama; LEGACY
I couldn’t let the chance pass without visiting it’s Soap’s Antagonist “10th Gawad Tanglaw’s Actor of the Decade” Sid Lucero.

Now back in GMA7; Sid has been getting good reviews with the projects he is in.
Anytime soon, he will come out in a new afternoon soap with Jennylyn Mercado.
Last February, Sid with Filipino filmmaker Direk Brillante Mendoza attended the 62nd Berlin International Film Festival at the Berlinale Palast in Germany; for their film “Captive” which also top-bills French actress Isabelle Huppert. Philippine premiere will be in the 17th Citi-Rustan’s French Film Festival to be held at the Shangri-La Plaza mall from June 7 to 17.

Xian Lim

Multi-talented artist Xian Lim is set to come out in a new soap opera
with Kim Chiu, Enchong Dee & Maja Salvador as his co-stars.
He is also currently shooting a Star Cinema movie “The Reunion”
to be shown in August of this year; 
with Enrique Gil, Enchong Dee & Kean Cipriano as his co-stars.
Last April 30, Xian’s first studio album ‘So It’s You” was finally released by Star Records.
It features five tracks with its carrier single “Puso Kong Hibang,” ; 
composed by Xian himself.

Other songs in the album are:
1. “My Binondo Girl” theme song 
2. “Ako’y Sa’yo Lamang,” 
3. “So It’s You,” 
4. “Reaching Out” 
5. “Oh Babe”

Available in Astrovison/Astroplus & in all leading record bars.
Xian will be in Home Depot Carson in the US this coming May 26, 2012 with Kim Chiu
And will be in Gandang Gabi Vice anniversary episode tonight.

John Medina

John Medina is a commercial model who came out in EQ & AyosditoPH ads.

He was recently the talk-of-the-town of the online world as his character James Ocampo on ABS-CBN’s top-rating primetime drama “Walang Hanggan” made it to the Twitter trending topics list in the Philippines.

John remained a hot topic on Twitter; from Tuesday night March 13 until morning of the 14th.

John was discovered by Coco Martin and was his body double in the highly acclaimed drama “Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin”.

Visited him on the set yesterday May 18, 2012 of Walang Hanggan and was fortunate to have experienced his kindness, humility & cuteness.

Visited Coco Martin yesterday May 18, 2012 on the set of the most watched teleserye "Walang Hanggan".

He is set to come out in a new movie produced by Star Cinema & Cinemedia; “Born to Love You” with Angeline Quinto as his leading lady on May 30, 2012.

Red Carpet Premiere night screening is on the 29th of this month.

Coco Martin was recently recognized as “Actor of the Decade” by Gawad Tanglaw Awards; Best Actor by KBP Golden Dove Awards, PMPC Star Awards for TV, USTV 2012 Awards, and Northwest Samar State University Students’ Choice Awards for Radio and Television for his performance in the heartwarming & heartbreaking  drama; “Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin.”

Sam Milby

Sam Milby arrived last Wednesday May 16, 2012 at NAIA Terminal 2 via Philippine Airlines.

Sam came back because of prior commitments.
He is set to have a teleserye with Judy Ann Santos, John Estrada & KC Concepcion. Storycon happening this week.

During his three-month stay in New York, Sam went to a dozen auditions. According to the acoustic heartthrob, everything he picked up during his stay abroad made him a better person; it also rejuvenated his passion for music and singing.

When Sam was in New York, he appeared as a special guest of Filipino-American Broadway star Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, who currently stars in the revival of “Godspell”. Sam also got the chance to spend quality time with his father while in the US.

Next year, he plans to return there for another casting of primetime TV shows.

Watch out for Sam Milby tomorrow on ASAP and on “Sarah G. Live”.

Luis Manzano

LuisJen (Luis Manzano & Jennylyn Mercado) made it to the trending topics on twitter last Sunday, May  13, 2012 when Luis guested on Showbiz Central for Jennylyn’s 25th Bday bash.

Luis’ guesting on “Showbiz Central” proved to be very satisfying coz the show rated so well.
Both were very happy that “network war” was set aside allowing each of them to guest on the opposite network;  Jennylyn for “Kapamilya Deal or No Deal” & Luis for “Showbiz Central”.

Jennylyn is to come out in an afternoon soap with Sid Lucero while Luis is to host the 3rd season of “Pilipinas Got Talent” with Billy Crawford.

Luis & Jen are enjoying MMA Training and diving together.

Edward Mendez

27-year old hunk Edward Mendez is coming out in a new soap in ABS-CBN’s Kapamilya Gold this May 28, 2012 “Precious Hearts Romances presents Hiyas”; stars Zanjoe Marudo with Megan Young & Mercedes Cabral.

Also Edward plays the role of a priest in Primetime Bida’s 
“Dahil sa Pag-ibig” with Piolo Pascual.

Model-turned-fitness and wellness consultant Edward Mendez is the current fitness director in Sexy Solutions, the fitness center established by Belo Group. He was raised in Maryland, USA where he studied "Sports Science and Medicine" at the University of Maryland.

He also wrote a fitness book (title: Your Dream Body Come True) and will be released early next year.
The idea of his fitness book according to him is revolutionary because the principle of it is “to eat more and exercise less; and to get your best dream body in less than three months".

Edward has done commercials and ramp modeling in the Philippines and abroad in the past. He did Pantene Shampoo, Lux, Lucky Me, Medicol and Safeguard. 

He was also in an Ai-Ai delas Alas movie called Pinay Pie 
and was part of MTV VJ Hunt and came out  in an evening soap opera “Magkaribal” & afternoon drama “Alyna”.

Edward is 6’1” tall; weighs 182 lbs.; and wears large-size shirt; medium-size underwear and size-12 shoes.

Gerald Anderson and Jake Cuenca

The "Garcia Brothers" Gerald Anderson and Jake Cuenca are back in one project.
Known as Half-Brothers in the previously acclaimed Teleserye "Tayong Dalawa" 
were both portrayed the role of a military David Garcia Jr.
The show had a successful run then and was even a phenomenon in Singapore.
They are set to come out in an Indie Film with working title "El Bruho". 
They started shooting last May 9, 2012. Details about the film to follow.

Jake Cuenca is currently seen on the Kapamilya Gold afternoon drama 
"Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo" with Shaina Magdayao & Bangs Garcia as her leading ladies.
A story about OFW and was partially shot in Doha Qatar.
He will also have a new soap 3rd quarter of this year with a working title
"Kahit ang Puso ay Sugatan" with Gabby Concepcion, Iza Calzado & Andie Eigenmann.
They had their workshop & screentest yesterday, May 10, 2012.

Meanwhile Gerald Anderson's soap Budoy ended with flying colors
backed up with positive reviews & praises to his incredible acting. 
He is now busy joining basketball competition with Star Magic Artists.
They recently won in Hongkong over HK Pinoy League; and will be competing next in Dubai.
He also had a work-pleasure combined activity in the US for the Teleserye Tour
held from March 30 in Hawaii & March 31 to April 7 in California, Illinois & Alaska.
