Jake Cuenca is off to star in a New Teleserye previously titled as Doha and now Kung Ako'y Iiwan mo with Shaina Magdayao. Some scenes were taken in Doha Qatar for around 3weeks.

Yesterday February 14, 2012, visited him on the set of Doha and kinda Celebrated Valentines with him! I just love this man so much! So handsome!

A year ago was his teleserye Greenrose; where they shot some scenes in Korea making him a nominee to the UST Awards.

Gerald Anderson

Gerald Anderson has been receiving good reviews from his Teleserye Budoy. 
His acting has evolved into a higher level. 

The viewers, directors and co-actors have nothing to say but praises and compliments.
The show has also been consistently getting high ratings.

Right now, Ge had all his hair removed for his role in Budoy. It still looks good on him. 

Recently Ge and his Star Magic Basketball Team were hailed basketball champions 
against Chevrons of De lasalle Lipa last February 9, 2012.

Last February 6, 2011 was the pilot of the new Showtime.
Zanjoe was one of the new judges.
His sample was dancing the 'Teach Me How to Douggie' that made him trend in twitter close with Channing Tatum.

The week ended in favor of him for not being eliminated as one of the judges.

Happy Birthday Champ!

February is Indeed a Love Month. One of the most lovable people I've known is celebrating his special day this month. Arthur Bernard Lui Pio or known as Champ to many is celebrating his 30th Birthday this February 8.  The photos were actually from my birthday. Nonetheless I used them coz it was just so fitting that he was holding a cake. Happy Birthday Champ! I Love You to bits! God Bless you and your heart. Here is a small note I wrote.

He is an Angel who came down to rock my world and everyone else’s universe. His soothing voice can destroy the loneliness of a being; His smile can torture every weary soul and make them smile again. When he stares; He can crash every bars of broken hearts and let them love again. His presence can revive a beauty that faded coz of insecurities. He is an Angel indeed who knows how to rock and still be a blessing to many.

Superficial as it may sound, but Yes, Champ is just a Patron of Good Vibes. He is a friend to keep. Just the sweetest and the most charming. He takes away blues and replaces it with rainbows. He delivers smiles and gives you gladness.

I’ve known Champ for more than 4 years now. We first met in a carnival in Mall of Asia. Funny but I was wearing a wig then. A long brown straight hair. Haha. Yet he didn’t care and was still very friendly. His dimple was like a magnet that made me want to see him more. I tried going to almost every gig he had. Even if it was midnight; even if I had work. It didn’t hinder me for he brought me so much smiles that were more than enough for me to love him til eternity. Naks!

But seriously I just admire and respect this person so much. He likes surprises and He likes good company. He has a heart for the kids and the dreamers. He supports a charity and starting musicians. He mentors, He appreciates, He treasures, He is loyal and He is hungry to learn some more.

Those that I’ve said are not enough yet to express how wonderful he is and how grateful I am to have known him and to have him as a friend.

Getting to know the real Champ is like discovering the 8^th and best wonder of the world.

Treehouse Daycare

One Fine Saturday

Every other Saturday, Champ has this little charity event at the Muntinlupa Fire Station - The Treehouse Daycare. Treehouse Day Care is a place where kids have the chance to learn, interact and have fun. Students from Alabang Elementary school spend their afternoon with their Kuya Champ together with some volunteers for fun activities & recreation.

I was a witness to how warm this event was. Been there like 3 or 4 times already. The kids enjoyed coloring books, drawing, watching movies together, playing basketball, story-telling, basic skills teaching & having merienda as a family.

Champ's parents, siblings, friends & fans are their too to even make it more welcoming & entertaining.

If you have vacant time, You can go there and enjoy your Saturday with the kids too. You can bring food, reading materials, coloring books, school supplies & or even just your time, effort & assistance will greatly be appreciated. Someday Dream

Someday Dream’s 1^st Bloggers’ Meet-up was a success last February 01, 2012 at Blue Onion Bar in Eastwood. The event was made possible by Mecca Music, MCA Music & Pinoy Magazine in cooperation with Orange Magazine TV with Bose, Terranova, Keds & Selecta Cornetto as sponsors.

I did not enlist my name as a blogger in the event. I knew there was an event even before it was promoted. I came there as a friend to support Champ Lui Pio, former Lead Vocalist of the band HALE and now founder of Mecca Music. I just don’t support someone or something I don’t have faith on. But definitely there must be something with Rez Toledo a.k.a. Someday Dream that Champ made him signed as 1^st artist of his own label. And yes! He was right! This 21 year old Atenista is incredibly talented. Amazing vocals, He plays the organ & guitar, composes his own songs, mixing his own music to make it sound electronically cool and disarming.

I have been introduced to Someday Dream many times, actually Rez is becoming to look like Champ already! Haha.

Someday Dream’s hit single “Hey Daydreamer”  that was recently used as a jingle by Selecta Cornetto got the #1 spot in Pinoy Myx Year End Countdown  and Myx Hit Chart year ender edition.  Also he was awarded by Yahoo Philippines as Breakthrough Artist & Icon of the Year and by RX 93.1 as OPM Artist of the Year and his “Hey Daydreamer” as Song of the Year.

What an achievement already for someone who has just started recently.  He has a long way to go and will surely be in places with Champ as his manager and mentor, the Dream Team, and the dreamers – his fan base. Together they make a great & unbeatable team.

Somedaydream’s debut album is now out for P250 exclusively available in all Astroplus branches. It is also available digitally via mymusicstore.com.ph for P25 per song.  The album contains these tracks:
